Purpose of Role:

This position is responsible for the handling and movement of inventory within the facility. As well as the maintaining of a safe and effective working environment.

Primary Duties:

• Perform different general warehouse activities such as:

• Pick FG items using customer order

• Palletize/stage product for loads and Load orders according to truck layout

• Follow proper labeling requirements by customer type

• Operate mobile equipment (pallet rider and forklift)

• When necessary, cube trailers in order for material to fit properly

• Able to load multiple stop trailers

• Perform quality and accurate Loading

• Assemble, box, and label parts for UPS

• Work in the parcel shipping area

• Observe all established safety guidelines

• Responsible for 5-S housekeeping

• Responsible for following good inventory practices

• Put-away FG from the media line, following storage guidelines

• Perform different functions throughout the warehouse responsibilities including receiving and inventory

• Must take proper care of equipment and company property

Requirements:

Qualifications Required

• Must be able to work in a team-work environment

• Must be a quick learner, able to learn from and work with different people during training period

• Must possess a stable work history in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Must be willing to work overtime as required

• Knowledge of truck loading by tier is desirable

• Must be able to control activities of warehouse

• Ensures shipping, receiving and storage are performed in an efficient manner

• High School Diploma or Equivalent desirable

• Two years of related warehouse/shipping/inventory experience, desirable

• Mobile equipment experience

• Knowledge of inventory procedures

 

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/push boxes weighing 50 lbs, and 110 lbs as team-lift, in a constant basis

• Able to stand, walk for long periods of time

• Able to withstand extreme heat/cold, in the warehouse and inside trailers
